ATLANTA – Surgical Information Systems launched a newly enhanced online client portal this week in response to the needs of its growing user community. The portal, called SIS Central, features numerous tools that will drive outstanding service, improve user education, and build a collaborative community of SIS users to network and share best practices.
SIS Central features a new knowledge base, an online technical support system, an interactive client community, and SIS Academy educational offerings allowing clients make the most of their perioperative systems. Online technical support streamlines the support process and drives increased operational transparency, while the extensive knowledge base allows SIS users to discover solutions without ever contacting a support representative.
Tressan Hinton, OR Systems Analyst at Ochsner Clinic Foundation, has experienced the benefits first-hand. “I just began using SIS Central and it has already proven to be a valuable tool,” said Hinton. “Earlier I contacted the SIS support team with an issue, but then I quickly found a way to resolve it myself by searching the new knowledge base. This really saved me some time and effort.”
The SIS Central user community provides a venue for SIS clients to network with their peers, divulge tips and tricks and share best practices though forum discussions. The portal also provides project management tools and technical documentation to assist clients during implementations, upgrades and other projects.
“SIS Central is the direct result of our listening to client feedback and implementing the tools they need to make the most of the SIS solution,” said SIS CEO Ed Daihl. “We continuously strive to find innovative ways to meet the needs of perioperative professionals and earn their trust as a long-term partner. This portal will be a great resource for current and future SIS users that will continually evolve to help them excel at what they do each and every day.”
