System Administrator
Users who are to administer the SIS application in their facilities should have mastery of all Administrative, Scheduling and Clinical modules. This all-encompassing track provides the skills necessary to build and maintain the entire SIS installation.
The SIS track for the Materials Manager includes the Materials Management, Procedure/Preference Card Management and Inventory Management courses. Also included are the basic Scheduling and clinical data entry courses, along with Rules Based Charging Management.
This track provides the skills required for building and maintaining facility procedure cards and surgeon preference cards. Coursework includes the study of materials and procedure codes, and assigning both to procedure and preference cards.
Rules-Based Charging Administrator
The SIS Rules Based Charging (RBC) modules are used to set up and maintain the billing rules and parameters for patient charging within the organization, and for generating patient charges. This track provides the skills required to create and manage billing rules for use in charge management, as well as the skills required to generate the charges for services and materials documented in the Clinical modules.
The Scheduling Administrator will learn the skills required to build and maintain appointment and case schedules for PAT and OR facilities.
